Friendship Baptist Church WOM

The Friendship Baptist Church WOM (also know as WMU, and our preferred name), meets the third Saturday in each month. We meet at the same time that our Brotherhood meets and they prepare a wonderful breakfast for everyone. After enjoying our meal together, we each go to our separate meetings.

As the WMU is about Missions, we strive to dedicate our programs to various mission work.

Our group worked hand-in-hand with the Senior Citizens Center in our area for a great Valentine Banquet this year. Several members made unique Valentine arrangements, provided door prizes, food, and decoration for the Center as the elder citizens enjoyed a night of fun and fellowship on this special day of love. We received such a blessing by just being able to help them have a memorable event.

Our WMU is always there to help others in the community, as well as our own members, when there is a need. We lovingly send food, flowers, etc. to church members and non-church members at different times of the year - Christmas and special needs times.

We are in the process at this time of learning more about the "ADOPT AN ANNUITANT" Ministry and fell confident that we will make every effort to help with this program.

Friendship Baptist Church WMU is there for all and tirelessly gives of its time and efforts to help others. Come join us the thrid Saturday in each month and you will receive a blessing, as well as blessing others!
